A Day in the Life: Ms. Petra Hunter, Dallas Dominatrix
I’m going to keep this short and sweet, shooting this type of work is some of my favorite. I decided earlier this year to only accept work that didn’t stress me out and that *hopefully* also brought me joy. The last few months I’ve started working with sex workers, dommes, and burlesque performers more and more; if y’all are reading this…I LOVE YOU!! Meeting and working with Ms. Petra Hunter was one of the highlights of my summer, and if you are interested in hiring a domme, you should 110% hire her. Period.
Now, behold.
2018 Rewind: Flesh & Flora Photography Mini 12 Month Gallery
2018 portfolio review of Dallas boudoir photographer.
I wanted to review work from the past year, so I spent this afternoon browsing various 2018 galleries. Photographers spend a lot of time shooting/editing, and it is easy to forget about a past session due to the sea of new edits we are constantly facing. I loved looking back on work to see where I’ve come from, and to see if it is aligned with where I’m going. When I started pursuing photography in 2016, I never thought I would go full time or pursue boudoir. Now in January 2019, I am doing both! About halfway through last year I put my foot down and said I would slowly be backing away from offering family photography services, but after looking at the 2018 galleries, some of the images that spoke most to me were in family galleries. Are they my most beautiful, artistic, or creative images? Maybe not, but images of our loved ones are timeless and priceless. Moving into the new year, I plan on pursuing ALL of the boudoir and couples boudoir (polycules welcome too!!!), a few small weddings here and there, hopefully partner with a few brands, and last but certainly not least, more family sessions.
2018 Mini Gallery: January 2018 (top) to December 2018 (bottom). I only selected one image per month, out of 5-15 sessions a month.
The Least Shy Kiddos in Dallas and their Gorgeous Parents take on The Lumen Room!
Ballerina twirls, froggie jumps, and sugar- that’s what little girls are made of. Well, at least these two kiddos.
I met their mama several years ago, and she has been such a blessing in my life. Kendra, your family brought me so much joy during our session. When I think of a lasting love, I think of the way you and Gene look at one another. When I think about “parent goals”, I think about the way your girls look at you and Gene. When I think about having children, I remember your youngest doing the froggie jumps during the Christmas pajama portion of the session, and I then take my birth control. Thank you so much for allowing me to take these and getting all cozy and vulnerable for my camera; I know being photographed isn’t an easy task. Though this was a family centered session, I was able to shoot quickly so we achieved a lot of variety. I always try to throw in some extra shots, maybe a few steamy couple photos, a new LinkedIn headshot, or even a fancy solo portrait for mama. Without further ado, The Washington Family. (All images were taken by Flesh and Flora Photography at The Lumen Room in Dallas)
Twitch Streamer and Denver Model Goes to the Mountains!
This babe right here…serving looks by day, and kicking ass in Call of Duty by night.
She has a passion for makeup, modeling, craft beer, video games, and more. She was an absolute trooper regarding the cold weather during our shoot, and kept me laughing despite the snow and rain. Summer, you are a light, and are GOING PLACES!!! You can watch her streams on her Twitch channel a few days a week! Happy Tuesday y’all <3

Dallas Girl Gang Meetup! (August Edition)
Review of recent Girl Gang Meetup in Dallas featuring female DFW photographers and models.
I was finally able to attend my first Girl Gang Meetup in August; the event was hosted by Kristianna Davied at Studio 34 Seven in Dallas. There were no boys allowed, and it was pretty dang magical.
There was an abundance of talent in attendance and I was so stoked to meet a lot of the DFW area creatives that I have admired via social media and art shows for a while. I am not really a shy person, but when I’m in a room full of strangers, it takes me a while to open up. However, within 15 minutes of arriving, I was meeting people left and right and was able to take way more portraits than I anticipated. Meetups are an amazing way for local creatives to be able to meet, collaborate, exchange ideas, plan future sessions, etc… I highly suggest attending a meetup if you are a new model or photographer, but they are beneficial for anybody that goes! You should take water, props, outfits, and any necessary gear. I can’t speak highly enough about the Girl Gang Meetup because I felt supported through the entire shoot and was met with a smile each time I introduced myself to somebody new.

Lush and Dreamy Boudoir in Dallas with Flesh & Flora Photography
Dallas boudoir photography services.
This glittery, pastel boudoir session was a dream for me!
This babe showed up with the most amazing makeup (did it herself) and outfits planned; I was not ready!!!! She had purple fuzzy lingerie, purple fuzzy blinged-out heels, colorful hair, gorgeous tattoos, and some glittery galactic highlighter that I had a hard time not impulsively buying online after our session. I am still booking Winter 2018/Early 2019 Boudoir/ Self Love sessions, contact me to book here- Book a Session!
Though this beauty deserves an entire novel, I’m going to keep this post short and sweet. Boudoir does not have to be heels and pearls, though it can if that is your vision. When you book a session with me, we will discuss ideas, limits, locations, etc… Do not be shy! Happy October y’all <3
